Important Notice for Street Hail Livery Permit Owners and Medallion Owners and Agents

IMPROVEMENT SURCHARGE DEADLINE UPDATE

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) would like to inform its licensees that the deadline for the improvement fund payment was extended until August 18, 2015.

The quarterly improvement fund payment was originally due by August 1, 2015 and was extended due to busy summer vacation schedules and the limited window given to make the payment.

Failure to submit your payment by the extended August 18th date may result in a summons which could result in fines and/or possible suspension of your license until compliance.

As of July 24, 2015, payment can be made by using the Licensing and Renewal System (LARS) which can be found at www.nyc.gov/lars.
