ONLINE APPLICATION FILING RECEIPT CAN NOWBE USED TO SIGN-UP FOR TAXI SCHOOL

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) would like to inform all applicants for a Medallion Driver's License the following:

Effective August 17, 2015 an applicant who files an online application for a Medallion Driver's License can immediately use the receipt they receive from the online filing to sign up to take Taxi School.

Note: attending Taxi School and passing the final exam is only one of the requirements for licensure. It does not guarantee the issuance of a license.
